Speaking and Listening

Dear Parents

During class we have been focusing on our speaking and listening skills. Every week we focus on building our confidence in a group environment with the whole school initiative of Drop Everything and Talk. 

Last week's topic was: Describe the best gift you have ever received. Below are some of the responses from our class.

Gracie said "My flamingo because it was my first beanie boo toy". 

Irene said "My toy dog because it keeps me comfortable. When I'm feeling nervous, I give my toy dog a hug".

Tate said "The hot wheels because they go fast". 

Everyone was very excited to talk about their favourite gifts and how they had received them.
