Science Shirts   I would like all children to bring in one white, long sleeve button shirt to use during our Science lessons.   This could be a family member’s old white shirt. Please send in the shirts to school by the  8 th March 2019 .  Thank you ☺ Miss Ryan

Science is FUN!   Super Scientists in Room 7 As part of our Science Program, the children have been completing one science experiment per day. Here is a list of the experiments from Weeks 1 and 2. Day 1: Skittles rainbow Day 2: Rain cloud in a jar Day 3: Bouncy egg Day 4: Walking water Day 5: Flower experiment Day 6: Leak proof bag Day 7: Sparkly explosion Day 8: Lava in a lamp Day 9: Foil boats Day 10: Invisible ink with lemon juice At the end of each science experiment, the children and I work together to write a recount about what happened. These recounts are displayed on the stars at the back of the classroom. Next time you are in our classroom, please take some time to read all about the wonderful science adventures in Room 7. What has been happening in Room 7?  Introduction The Pre Primary and Year One children have had a wonderful start to the school year. They have settled into the class routines and enjoyed visiting the specialist classes. In our classroom, the children are learning how to work together in groups.
