A Fantastic Term Two!

Over the last nine weeks, the children have progressed in many areas of development including academic, creative, physical and social and emotional. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the children become responsible for their learning.

In Term Two, the children were involved in some exciting events...

WA Week

As part of the school's celebration of WA Day, each child was asked to bring in a photo of their favourite place to visit in Western Australia. These photos are currently being displayed on signage in Block Four.

Super Scientist Competition
The Year One children were invited to present a short science experiment or report on a science related topic to their peers. All the children were creative, used their imagination and had fun in preparing and presenting their science experiment or report. Congratulations to Tahlia for being selected by her peers as the top 'super scientist' for Room 7.

Junior Assembly

On the 15th June, the children attended their fourth Junior Assembly for the year. Congratulations to the children for winning the Italian Award. Thank you to Drasika and Thanuja (Semester 1 Student Councillors) for accepting the award on behalf of their peers. Furthermore, a big congratulations to Edward, Ella, Shanuel and William for receiving their well-deserved Merit Certificates. Keep up the awesome effort, Caterpillars.

I wish you all a happy and safe holiday.

Kind regards

Miss Ryan
