In Room Seven, the students have been learning how
to orally count from 0 by 2s, 5s and 10s to 100. To support the students, I have
been incorporating some entertaining songs into our daily Mathematics Warm Ups.

Problems
Thank you very much for your support with Word
Problem Wednesday. It is great to see all the students having a go at the
completing the word problems.
Last week, I introduced the CUBES Strategy to the
students. The students use this strategy to solve addition and subtraction word
problems.
The steps are:
At home, I will like you to remind your child to use the CUBES Strategy when completing word problems.
