  What skills to revise during the holidays?  During the holidays,  it would be greatly appreciated if you  could   revise   the following : Mathematics Year One Number and Algebra Reading, writing and ordering numbers to 100. Making and drawing collections to 50. Locating numbers 1 to 100 on the number line. Orally counting to 200 and from 100 from any starting point. Orally counting starting from 0 by 2s, 5s and 10s to 100. Reading the word numerals for 1 to 20. Reading and understanding basic facts to 20 (addition). Representing and solving simple addition and subtraction problems to 30 using concrete m aterials, illustrations and counting on.   Measurement and Geometry Naming and ordering the days of the week and months of the year. Naming the seasons. Knowing the duration of an hour, day, week and month.   Harmony Day  Special Parade of the Nations On the 26th  March (Friday), our school will celebrate Harmony Day with two special Parades of the Nations. The Kindergarten to Year Two parade will start at 8:45am and take place in the undercover area.  I would like to see all children: dressed in a national dress costume carrying a small flag (A4 size) from their country Thank you for your wonderful support ☺ Miss Ryan
